What is Mobikhata?

Mobikhata is a free app that replaces your traditional paper khata (ledger book). It lets shopkeepers and small business owners track Udaar (customer credit), manage accounts in any currency, and securely sync their data — available on iOS and Android.

How do I log in or sign up?

You can sign in with your Phone Number (OTP), Google Account, or Apple Sign-In. The process is seamless and takes under a minute.

Which currencies does Mobikhata support?

Mobikhata supports over 150 world currencies via a searchable currency picker. PKR, AFN, and USD are popular defaults, but you can set any currency for any business — useful for traders who work across borders.

Can I manage multiple businesses?

Yes. You can create multiple businesses under one account, each with its own ledger, currency, and customer list. Switch between them with a single tap from the app's home screen.

Is my data backed up if I lose my phone?

Yes. Mobikhata uses real-time Firebase cloud sync to automatically back up your data. Sign in with the same account on any new phone and your complete khata history is restored instantly.

Can I edit or delete a wrong transaction?

Yes. Tap any transaction to edit or delete it. The customer's balance recalculates immediately. Deleted entries can also be restored from the Recycle Bin in Settings.
