1. Data We Collect and Why We Collect It

To provide you with the core features of Mobikhata and comply with Google Play Store guidelines, we request access to the following information. We only collect data necessary for the app to function properly:

Account Information: Your name and email address are collected to create and secure your account, allowing you to securely back up and access your ledger across devices.
Financial Records: Ledger entries and Udaar (credit) records are collected solely to provide the digital ledger service to you.
Contacts List: Accessed locally so you can quickly select and add customers or people to your ledger. We do not secretly upload or share your entire contact list.
Camera & Photos: Accessed only when you choose to take a photo of a receipt, attach images to a transaction, set a profile picture, or save PDF reports to your device.
Calendars & Reminders: Accessed only to let you schedule local payment reminders on your device.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used strictly to provide and improve the Mobikhata service. Specifically, we use your data to:

Securely sync and back up your ledger so you don't lose your data.
Provide customer support and respond to your inquiries.
Monitor app performance to fix crashes and improve stability.

4. Data Retention and Account Deletion (Apple App Store & Google Play Policy)

We respect your right to control your personal data. Users can delete their account and all associated data directly within the app settings at any time.

To delete your account and data:

Open the Mobikhata app.
Navigate to Settings.
Select Account Deletion or Delete Account.
Follow the prompts to confirm your decision.

Note: Deleting your account will immediately and permanently remove your user profile, all your ledger entries, and transaction history from our servers. This action cannot be undone.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. We do not sell your personal or financial data to third parties.

6. Children's Privacy

Our Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
